CONWAY, SC — August 5, 2025 — Eagle Development Group and Hoffman United have officially broken ground on a new retail project in Conway, South Carolina. Located at 2199 Church Street, the development will be the future home of Firehouse Subs and Slim Chickens, two high-demand national brands expanding their presence in the Myrtle Beach region.
The project involves the demolition of an aging 100-year-old structure to make way for a contemporary, multi-tenant facility designed for high-efficiency service. This development is situated along the heavily traveled SC Highway 501 corridor, the primary gateway for residents and tourists traveling through Conway. The site is expected to become a key dining destination, featuring modern architecture and a layout optimized for both dine-in and rapid take-out customers. The project brings together two popular fast-casual concepts, Slim Chickens and Firehouse Subs. Construction is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026, at which time both restaurants will hold grand opening celebrations. The Conway groundbreaking is another step in Eagle Development Group’s focused expansion across the Southeast. By identifying prime locations along major transportation routes, the firm continues to create opportunities for top-tier retail brands to enter high-growth markets.
